Beyond business, I’m a proud father of three boys, a husband of 20+ years, a youth mountain biking coach, and a finisher of the legendary Leadville 100 — 104 miles, 14,000 feet of elevation, completed in 9 hours and 30 minutes. That same grit, endurance, and resilience fuels everything I do in business and in life.
In 2017, I was on the verge of closing a $5M deal and had secured 21 days off to complete my bucket-list goal — the Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Race — with my family in Colorado.
Then a new boss came in and tried to cut that to one week.

Crossing that finish line at 10,000 feet above the Rockies, everything clicked — I was meant for more than just another paycheck. My wife Sarah and I agreed: it was time to build something of our own.
